Appetite + Recovery, Daily
Creatine That Actually
Fits Your Life
Most creatine is sold to gym bros. Create is different: a Creapure® gummy with allulose that I take 10 minutes before lunch and dinner — and the same daily creatine that supports recovery, cortisol regulation, and brain fog when your body is healing.
How I Use It
Three Ways,
One Daily Stack
The gummies are my pre-meal appetite tool and my daily creatine. The drink mix is the training and hydration companion. Same Creapure® creatine, two formats — I use both depending on the day.
My Pre-Meal Routine
Ten minutes before lunch and dinner, I eat a 3-gummy serving. That's 4.5 g of Creapure® creatine and ~2.5 g of allulose — and I literally eat about 30% less. The allulose is the appetite hook; the creatine is along for the ride in the same gummy. Sour Cherry is my flavor, but there are six to pick from.
6 Flavors
Sour Cherry, Blue Raspberry, Strawberry, Peach, Grape, Tropical Punch.
1.5 g Creapure® per Gummy
3-gummy serving = 4.5 g Creapure® creatine monohydrate. Not a blend, not generic creatine.
Allulose Is the Hook
A rare sugar that's ~70% as sweet as sucrose with almost no calories. This is what's doing the appetite work — see the Science section below.
NSF Certified for Sport®
Third-party tested for banned substances and label accuracy. Rare for a gummy.
Creatine for Healing
Creatine isn't just for athletes. When your body is healing — from mold, chronic illness, postpartum, stress — daily creatine supports energy production, muscle preservation, and cognitive function. That's why I stay on it even on rest days. See /deficiencies/ and /mold-exposure/ for context on why this matters during recovery.
Brain Fog + Focus
Creatine supports cellular energy (ATP) in the brain — a common thin spot during chronic illness and postpartum.
Muscle Preservation
Daily creatine helps hold onto lean mass when stress, illness, or calorie restriction would otherwise strip it.
Cortisol + Sleep
Part of the larger nervous-system reset. Works alongside sleep, light, and morning sun — not as a replacement.
Daily, Not Loaded
No loading phase, no cycling. Just 4.5 g every day.
Hydration + Workout Stack
Create's drink mix is a stick-pack: creatine, electrolytes, and taurine in a single pour. I use it on training days and as a hydration companion to Cure. Four flavors, 30 stick-packs per bag, NSF Certified for Sport® like the gummies.
Creatine + Electrolytes
Single stick-pack stack — sodium, potassium, and magnesium alongside the creatine. No added sugar.
Taurine Included
Amino acid that supports cellular hydration and steady energy — a common training-day ally.
4 Flavors, 30 Sticks
Watermelon, Lemon Lime, Tropical Punch, Grape. Stick-pack format — no scoops, no mess.
Stacks with Cure
The two aren't redundant. Cure is my everyday hydration; Create's mix is the training-day companion.
The Science
Why allulose does the appetite work
Allulose is a rare sugar (D-psicose) — about 70% as sweet as sucrose with roughly 0.4 kcal/g, because your body doesn't metabolize it the way it metabolizes regular sugar. It also appears to raise active GLP-1, the same gut hormone family that the new weight-management drugs target — but via a food-derived route, not a pharmaceutical one.
A 2023 meta-analysis in PLOS One found allulose attenuated post-meal glucose spikes in healthy humans, even when eaten alongside regular sugar. A 2024 meta-analysis of six RCTs (n = 126) in people with type 2 diabetes showed reduced glucose AUC. And in 2019, the FDA exempted allulose from the "Added Sugars" and "Total Sugars" lines on the Nutrition Facts label — it's sugar on the chemistry side but not on the metabolic side.
This is promising, not proven. The studies are small, mostly short-duration, and Mary's 30%-less experience is personal. Very high doses can cause GI discomfort — the 3-gummy serving is well below that threshold.
Why It Matters
Not your bodybuilder's creatine
Eat 30% Less Before Meals
Mary's personal result, not a clinical claim: taking a 3-gummy serving 10 minutes before lunch and dinner consistently means smaller portions, no sugar cravings after, and feeling actually full. The allulose is the mechanism — see the Science block above.
Built For Healing, Not Just Lifting
Daily creatine supports cellular energy, muscle preservation, and cognitive function — things that matter as much (or more) during chronic illness, postpartum, and stress as they do at the gym. The framing most creatine brands miss.
A Real Hydration Stack
The drink mix is creatine + electrolytes + taurine in one stick-pack — a training-day companion to Cure Hydration, not a replacement. NSF Certified for Sport® like the gummies.
Creapure® + Real Researchers
Not generic creatine — Creapure® is the German-made monohydrate used in most of the clinical literature. Create's formulation team includes creatine researchers Darren Candow and Abbie Smith-Ryan, whose names show up on the peer-reviewed work.
My Take
“If you take one before a meal I literally eat like 30% less. I don't go back for seconds. I feel full. I'm not craving sugar after the meal. It's insane.”
— Mary
This is the most "wait, really?" product I've added to my daily stack in a long time. I came for the creatine — the recovery and cortisol piece of my healing stack — and the appetite effect from the allulose was the surprise. It's the same gummy doing both jobs, which is why it earned a permanent slot pre-lunch and pre-dinner.
My challenge to myself: one serving, 10 minutes before lunch and dinner.
